CHECK LIST FOR INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF V-SAT
A. THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES HAVE TO BE CARRIED OUT BY IRPMU THROUGH THEIR VENDOR.
I. SUPPLY OF V-SAT ARTICLES /EQUIPMENTS:
1. VSAT EQUIPMENTS
Antenna Indoor Unit Outdoor Unit LNA/LNB IFL Cable, Connectors and accessories 2. UPS 1 KVA 3. VOIP EQUIPMENT
4. PROTECTION DEVICES Lightening protection device Earthing (Complete) –two numbers II. WARRANTY OF ALL ABOVE EQUIPMENT FOR ONE YEAR Availability of electrical earth with potential difference between
earth and neutral less than 2 volts. Availability of 2 no. of 5/15 amp power points. Availability of 5’X5’ flat surface preferably at roof top for
installation of Antenna. Site should be selected to ensure that the
distance between Antenna and VSAT IDU is not more than 45 meters. Easy access to roof top. No high tension line near V-SAT location. Racks /Table for keeping datacom equipment. Dust free room with temperature maintained less than 25 deg.
(i) AMC AFTER EXPIRY OF WARRANTY FOR ONE YEAR
B. THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES HAVE TO BE CARRIED OUT BY RAILWAYS.
(i) Consignee to receive Materials /Equipment.
(ii) Permission to be taken for delivery and installation inside private
sidings.
(iii) Sites are made ready for following for further installation work.
